Wedding photography in Chicago can vary a lot depending on coverage time, experience, and what is included. My wedding coverage starts with straightforward options for couples who want natural photos, planning support, and a relaxed experience. If you are planning something smaller, like an elopement or City Hall wedding, I also offer coverage built specifically for that.

My packages are built to keep things simple and helpful. Depending on the type of session or event, coverage can include planning support, consultations, timeline help, photography coverage, fully edited high resolution images, and online gallery delivery. Some wedding packages also include engagement sessions, and there are options for albums or additional coverage when needed.

Yes. I specialize in surprise proposals and also photograph engagement sessions, elopements, City Hall weddings, and full wedding days in Chicago. Whether you are planning a proposal by the lake, a relaxed engagement session in the city, or full wedding coverage, I can help guide the process and create photos that feel natural, personal, and easy.

Yes. While I offer set packages to keep things simple, I also know every couple and event is different. If you need something more custom, I have hourly commission available. I’m happy to help build coverage that makes sense for your day, whether that means adjusting time, combining services, or creating something more specific to what you are planning.

Booking is simple. Once we confirm the coverage that fits what you are planning, I will send over a quote, contract, and retainer invoice. Your date is officially secured once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid.

Yes, I do ask for a deposit to officially reserve your date. For proposals, engagements, and elopements I ask for 50% upon booking and the remaining balance due the date of the session. For weddings packages I ask for 25% down and 75% 2 weeks before the date. Because I only take on a limited number of events and cannot hold dates without turning away other inquiries, the retainer secures your spot on my calendar.

Absolutely! Planning support is a big part of how I work. For proposals, I help with timing, location ideas, and how to keep the surprise smooth. For weddings and elopements, I help with timeline planning so the day feels easier, more organized, and less rushed while still leaving room for real moments.

Sure can. If you’re not sure how much coverage you need, I can help you figure out what makes the most sense based on your plans. Some couples need simple coverage, while others want more time for portraits, travel between locations, or more of the full story documented. I am happy to walk you through it.

Yes. Additional coverage can be added if your plans grow or you realize you want more time. This is especially common for weddings, proposal celebrations, and engagement parties. If you think your timeline may need extra room, we can talk through that ahead of time. Hourly commission is available to fine tune your day.

Turnaround depends on the type of coverage. Proposals are typically delivered within 7 to 10 days, with highlights often sent much sooner. Engagement sessions are usually delivered within 7 to 14 days.
Weddings are delivered within the timeframe listed in the package details, depending on the season and scope of coverage.

I don’t put a limit on the number of photos you get back. The total number of photos depends on the type of session or event, the amount of coverage, and how much happens throughout the day. Rather than promising a set number just to inflate expectations, I focus on delivering the strongest images while providing lots of variety for you to choose from.

Yes. I offer albums and print options that are made to last a lifetime. Printed photos and albums are some of the best ways to actually live with your images, and I am always happy to help guide that part of the process too.

Some of my wedding packages include an engagement session. Engagement sessions are a great way for us to work together before the wedding day, help you get comfortable in front of the camera, and create photos for save the dates, guest books, or your wedding website.

Yes. I photograph Chicago City Hall weddings and intimate elopements, including coverage at the courthouse and portraits around the city afterward. These smaller celebrations can still feel incredibly meaningful, and I approach them with the same care, direction, and attention to story as any larger wedding day. Yes. While Chicago is my main focus, I am open to traveling for weddings and sessions. If your plans are outside the city, just let me know what you are thinking and I can let you know what coverage options make sense.

My style is a mix of candid, lifestyle, and lightly editorial photography. I want the photos to feel natural and real, but I also give plenty of direction when needed so you never feel lost. I always want you to feel comfortable, look great, and still feel like yourselves in the photos. I love making those BIG shots!
